Meet the Team

Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® grew up in a small town in Northeast Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an undergraduate degree in Exercise, Nutrition and Health Sciences in May of 2011. Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® began Chiropractic college in August 2011 at Cleveland Chiropractic College-Kansas City and graduated with the highest distinction in December 2014. Upon graduation, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® returned to Lincoln and began helping the people of Lincoln and surrounding communities.

In March 2023, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® had the opportunity to become part of Young Chiropractic & Rehabilitation where he works hand-in-hand with a focus on helping everyone ranging from high-level athletes to weekend warriors, newborns to elderly patients, and everyone in-between in order to achieve the most ideal patient outcomes.

Along the way, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® has added certifications in many soft tissue modalities including Graston Technique and became a board-certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This training has allowed Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® to become an expert in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of sports injuries. This training has allowed Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® to become a sought-after source locally in the field of natural-based approaches to sports medicine. Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® has traveled with patients competing as athletes in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, UWW World Cup, various World Team Trials, and the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Team Trials as part of the USOC Volunteer Medical Professionals Team. In his spare time, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® enjoys spending time with his family including his two boys, playing and teaching his boys a variety of sports including baseball and football, and volunteering.

Hi, I’m Holly Taylor, the Office Manager for the Bennington branch of Young Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center. My goal is to educate our neighbors and friends in this community about the many benefits of chiropractic care for people of all ages and walks of life. My hope is for everyone to experience just how AWESOME it feels to get well and stay well with regular chiropractic care! 

I’ve been married to the bearded wonder, Jerry, for 15 wonderful years! We have 2 dogs, Leon and Frank, and a cat named Bacon. I was born and raised in South Omaha. I love to cook, camp, and have recently taken up golfing.
